Peggy Gallagher now offers two types of authentication: Economy and Platinum.

Economy Authentication - $4.25 Per Beanie!
This service is designed for the personal collector who does not intend on reselling a Beanie Baby.  The economy authentic Beanie Baby will be returned with a small numbered 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 certificate of authenticity in a clear sealed zip lock baggie with an "Authentic" sticker. The counterfeit Beanie will be returned in a clear sealed zip lock baggie with a counterfeit sticker. The Beanie will be mailed back to its owner via US Postal Service priority mail (within the USA only) within 24 hours from the time it was received.

The Beanie is not in a tamper proof acrylic display case. You will be emailed the return shipping date and whether or not the Beanie is authentic or counterfeit with details about why it is a counterfeit.

Platinum Authentication - Just $8.95 per Beanie!
This service is designed for those wishing to buy or sell a Ty product. If your item is found to be an authentic Ty product, will receive two Certificates of Authenticity with matching numbers.

The first Certificate of Authenticity will be placed with your item inside a sturdy Lucite display box which will be sealed with a tamper evident seal.

The second Certificate of Authenticity which is larger specifies the generation of both the hang tag and tush tag and is hand-signed by Peggy Gallagher.
 

What If It is a Fake?
In the event, the item is found to be a fake, the item will be returned to you without a Certificate of Authenticity or display case.  

How Long Does It Take?
The display box containing your item and the smaller Certificate of Authenticity as well as the larger Certificate of Authenticity will be shipped back to you within 3-4 business days. You will be emailed the UPS tracking number as soon as it is mailed out.

What Does It Cost?
Peggy charges the following fees for her full service authentications services:
  Attic Treasure: $8.95
  Beanie Baby:  $8.95
